32.5 billion euros spent on the Internet During the first three months of the year

in 1Verse E-commerce (products and services) recorded a growth of 11.8% compared to the first quarter of this yearVerse The quarter of 2021 amounted to 32.5 billion euros, 3 billion more than last year. The number of deals reached 527 million, compared to 499 million in 1Verse Quarter 2021.

After accelerating product sales in 2020 and 2021, the e-commerce sector continues to grow at 1Verse Quarter 2022 with continued recovery of service sales. If product sales drop 12% from 1Verse Quarter of 2021 which saw a high level of activity due to store closures, but still 15% higher than in 1Verse Quarter of 2020. As for service sales, it continued to catch up with +43% compared to 1Verse Quarter 2021 (+41% compared to the first quarter)Verse Quarter 2020). It was driven by the acceleration in transportation, tourism and leisure sales, which were up +135%.

The average transaction volume (products and services) rises to 62 euros and returns above level 1Verse The quarter of 2019. This change is the result of an increase in the weight of the tourism and leisure sectors in total revenue, as well as a change in transportation costs.

The quarterly index of new site creation shows 11% growth, the same trend since 2020.

The strong recovery in the e-tourism sector is confirmed

Monitoring the leading sites through the evolution of the iCE 100 board allows the following observations to be drawn, according to the different sectors of e-commerce activity.

However, over the past 12 months, increases compared to the start of the health crisis have varied from 20 to 35% by sector. Store brands continue to outperform.

B-to-B sales maintained their high growth and increased by 19.6% compared to last year. It maintains its acceleration and is above the pre-Covid level.

Finally, for the e-tourism sector, the recovery in sales intensified by +138.5% during the quarter compared to the first quarter of 2021. Sales of mobile phone products continue to rise

Thus, it is still 34% higher than the 2019 level. The weight of sales in the market represents 15% of the total sales of iCE 100 products and is one point higher than last year.

Total mobile device sales (products and services) increased 14% over 1Verse quarter this year. While in the first quarter of 2020 and 2021 it was driven by product sales, at 1Verse Quarter of 2022, they benefit from a recovery in travel sales.

This study is based both on information collected directly from a handful of leading websites and on the total amount of transactions recorded by major payment service providers on behalf of nearly 200,000 e-commerce websites.

The data collected by Vivad from commercial websites conforms to the following definitions:

E-Commerce Index (iCE 100) : Turnover generated directly by iCE 100 Panel companies on the fixed and mobile internet. Sites that publish a market do not count the volume of work carried out in the market, nor the commissions generated. Orders are only delivered in France. All delivery locations (including in-store checkouts) are maintained. This is the requested trade number (we consider the date of receipt of the order, not the date of delivery). Discounted cancellations, exchanges and returns, including postage, VAT included for sales to individuals, and HT for sales to professionals.

Market Index (iPM) Marketplace: Sites that publish a marketplace that advertise the sales made in the marketplace by the sellers used.

Mobile Trade Index (MCI) Revenue that the Company generates directly from smartphones and digital tablets as part of mobile websites and applications (excluding application downloads).
